If you are passionate about the environment, then our Jaw Pain Rehabilitation Inc. team has some tips that will help you have an environmentally healthy dental routine! For a healthy smile and improved environment, you can do the following things:

-Turn off the tap: There is no need for you to run the tap while you brush your teeth. So, to save water, turn the tap off once you have wet your toothbrush.

-Recycle your toothbrush: After three or four months, it’s time to replace your toothbrush. However, you don’t need to throw your toothbrush in the trash. To recycle your brush, use it as a small cleaning tool instead of throwing it away.

-Say no to microbeads: Some toothpaste brands add colorful microbeads to their paste to make the product sparkle. This might be a cool effect, but once the beads are washed down the drain, they flow into rivers and lakes. Then, the fish and other animals mistake these beads for food, which can kill them and also cause serious ecological damage. So, it’s best to purchase a toothpaste that doesn’t have these beads.

-Consider using compostable tools: Your toothbrush and floss don’t have to pile up in a landfill. You can use biodegradable products made of silk, corn-based plastic, and wood.
